Scott is currently an owner of Mid-South Family Farms, a farming operation consisting of cotton, corn, soybeans and wheat. Mid-South Family Farms employs on average 30-35 associates with locations in Tennessee and Mississippi.

In addition, Scott is a partner of a Brazilian land development and farming operation, Agricola LTDA, and he has been in the agricultural business with his family since graduating from college. He is a Certified Crop Advisor in the State of Tennessee. Scott has served on the Cotton incorporated Board of Directors for the past 15 years as well as numerous other local and regional boards.
