Vice President of Carbon Solutions, Bunge

In his more than 20 years at Bunge, Fernando has worked in various commercial roles in locations around the world.  He has served as the lead of the grain business in North America, managed Bunge’s Southern and Western Europe regions and oversees the wheat milling business in Mexico. He took on the responsibility of leading Carbon Solutions in 2021.

In his current role, he is leading Bunge’s effort in new product and service development for farmers and partners with particular focus on developing and capturing new demand for low carbon intensity oilseeds and services.

He joined the company in 2000 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
