Arlene Cotie is the Global Sustainable Ag Innovation Lead for Bayer, where she is responsible for identifying emerging technologies and practices that have the potential to transform Bayer’s sustainability commitments.
Arlene joined Bayer in 1993 and over the years has been a leader in international product development, seed production, quality assurance, and marketing of herbicide tolerant traits.
Arlene grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada, and presently owns and manages the farm her great grandfather homesteaded in 1910. Her passion for agriculture and commitment to ensure sustainability for the next generation on her family farm and all farms drives her gregarious approach and tenacious position to advocate and connect emerging science with practical farm application.
Arlene excels at connecting strategies to execution by building trust and rapport quickly that activates teams to innovate, learn and sort through complex issues.
