Community Partner

The mission of St. Louis Community College (STLCC) is to expand minds and change lives. We take pride in fulfilling that mission at the STLCC Center for Plant and Life Sciences (CPLS) located at BioResearch and Development Growth (BRDG) Park. CPLS providing technical training with two different programs for individuals seeking employment in the life science industry. The Life Science Lab Assistant (LSLA) program trains students in basic laboratory skills while increasing mathematics and reading skills. The Biotechnology program takes these basic skills to the next level by providing advanced molecular biology experiences and internships with local employers. These two programs create a pathway of success that fills the need for an advanced and technically trained workforce to support the bioscience industry in the St. Louis region.
